We are a non-profit historical reenactment performance troupe based out of the Herkimer NY area, specializing in combat choreography. Our group officially started circa 1997 at Herkimer County Community College with the Strategic Gaming Club and continues today. Our membership does vary slightly year to year based on family and employment responsibilities, but once a "remikren" always a "remikren." We have been performing at our main annual show, the Alexandria Bay Pirate Days Festival for eight years and this August 2006 will be our ninth. We have also been involved in the Nelliston Days Festival, and have done performances at the Turning Stone Casino, Folts Home, MetLife Call Center, haunted houses for the Utica Zoo, stuntwork for the St Lawrence Theatre Company, and the list goes on. Our combat choreography consists of professional swordfighting utilizing a wide array of weapons, from traditional rapier and broadsword types to bow staff, axes and asian weaponry as well. Many of us have had private training in the martial arts and all types of weapons use as well as acting classes. We also have our own crowd control personell and public and
property insurance. A large part of our performance is improvisational acting. Our range is vast, from the drama of the sword fights to the comedy of our street performances. Crowd interaction is also an important factor. We love what we do and we do it well. So take
