I like my drums hitting hard and a melody or sample that makes your face crinkle up when you hear it, as your mouth says "oooooh DAMN!!" I aim to use original drum sounds when i make my drums (no loops and no snares you can recognize from a triton keyboard unless of course its from a classic drum machine, which i love so much. lastly, i like my synths sharp, some nasty buzz saws or some smooth sine waves are always wonderful.
