About Me

Alexander Dresden Able Mahlecke, AKA best/cutest/most wonderful baby ever
jackie!
Andrew
Only after disaster can we be resurrected.
"How did I get into the world? Why was I not asked about it, why was I not informed of the rules and regulations but just thrust into the ranks as if I had been bought by a peddling shanghaier of human beings? How did I get involved in this big enterprise called actuality? Why should I be involved? Isn't it a matter of choice? And if I am compelled to be involved, where is the managerI have something to say about this. Is there no manager? To whom shall I make my complaint? - Kierkegaard
I'm Jessica and I am 23 years old, engaged, a mother of the most beautiful baby boy ever and stepmother to an adorable little girl.
My family and my friends are extremely important to me.
I am very distantly related to Joan of Arc and I am convinced that somehow, this makes me cool.
I keep the people I love & trust as close as possible. It may take me a while to trust you, but once I'm sure you're a friend, I will never leave your side.
I firmly believe in respect for self, respect for others, and taking responsibility for your actions - if you don't, it would be wise to avoid talking to me.
I don't like people who dream instead of doing.
I do not tolerate those who are blinded by their hatred for specific races, genders, or sexual orientations.
I like people who actually have something to say, especially if those people spell and punctuate their thoughts correctly.
If you don't read for fun, I probably won't have too much respect for you. If you do read for fun, but only read romance novels, I will most likely have nothing in common with you.
I hate television, I haven't watched any in about eight years, but I love movies and tv shows as long as they are on DVD.
I love to have real conversations with people, instead of just talking about the weather or movie stars or The Next Big Thing, whatever it may be. If you can't have a serious conversation once in a while, I'll run out of things to say to you. I can be goofy, but I tire of it after time.
The things I loathe most in this world are as follows: misogynists, rape, racism, drug addicts (the ones who never try to stop - I have nothing but respect for those who try to get their problem under control), dishonesty, apathy, Nora Roberts, & Rodney Dangerfield.
I am fascinated by how we as a species, destroy ourselves, over and over again. We never learn, and we never will.
I am constantly trying to learn new things - you name it, I've probably either got a book on it, or have read one.
In new situations, I am very quiet and stand-offish. I am always afraid to say the wrong thing and look stupid... But once you get to know me, I am extraordinarily goofy, perverted, vulgar, insane, and occasionally obnoxious. I like to joke around, laughing is probably one of the most amazing feelings in the world. If you can make me smile, you're a keeper.

This Love.

I love Andrew far too much to put it in to words that would be sufficient enough to express the feelings he makes me feel. For once, I really believe I can make something last.
