I'm originally from Los Angeles, California. I earned a bachelor's in music degree from Cal State Northridge. While in L.A. I studied with Gary Pratt, Bob Hurst, and Don Kasper. In 2001 I moved to New York City to pursue a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music. In New York I have been fortunate enough to take lessons with Jay Anderson, Ugonna Okegwo, Homer Mensch, David Grossman, Chris Rosenberg, Harvie S., and Ben Wolfe.I've been freelancing around New York with different groups for the past 4 years. Currently I teach bass at the Manhattan School of Music's pre-college program. I also have my own studio of private students.
