Last year, I parted ways with my loved ones in order to center my mind, body and spirit. It had to be the best decision I have ever made... well, next to coming home afterwards that is.
While I regret the occasions I spent without them, I knew deep in my heart of hearts that it was for the best. For, without this sabbatical, I would not have been able to reciprocate the level of compassion bestowed upon me now and in the future.
Over the last year I allowed myself to wander freely; I lived out of a backpack. The world, my oyster, the stars, my blanket and my curiosity, my muse. I was rich. I befriended a wide array of souls and have come to a very important conclusion. there is more than one way to live a meaningful and prosperous life.
