About Me

I grew up in Wisconsin, in the Pentecostal church, which is where people speak in tongues. I left the church when I moved to New York City and I don't speak in tongues anymore. Unless you make me really mad...or pay me. My father considers my material "controversial," mostly because he imagines that I am making fun of Pentecostals and fundamentalist Christianity, which is pretty much true. But if God is really all the evangelicals claim he is, I'm sure he can take it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet Bob Dylan. Actually, I'm not sure about that. I mean, I like Bob Dylan but I am not sure that trying to have a conversation with him wouldn't be awkward. He doesn't seem like a great conversationalist. There are a lot of people I find interesting and admire but I think it might be best to admire them from afar. So, who would I like to meet? Ah, what about you? What's your name?
