I was active Army for 7 years. During that time I met alot of friends that I would trust my life with. I was in for 4 years (Desert Storm), got out, realized how life can kick you in the jimmy, and went back in for 3 years -during that time there was still some jimmy kicking going on.
Tammie's path and mine crossed by chance, and I was offered a nice job back in NC so I decided to make the tough decision to leave active service.
By day, I do anything from build servers, build networks, or building websites. By night, I dawn my uniform and head off to my National Guard unit, an Infantry company called "The Razorbacks". We were deployed in 2004-2005 to Iraq.
I went back to Iraq as a civilian contractor in 2005-2006. I currently work at Fort Bragg Live Fire Shoot House.
On 26 October 2006, we welcomed Kathryn Matteson Lumpkin into the world. She is my little Katie-boo!!!
