About Me

a href="http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/ThyRavensMirror/ ?action=view&current=JackAdamsLogo.jpg" target="_blank"My name is Jack Adams and I have been a musician as long as i can remember. I started around the age of 10 when i made my mom buy me a piano after seeing Elton John on the Midnight Special. (remember that show?) I taught myself to play then graduated to guitar when i got turned on to KISS "dressed to kill". Great album. Jump ahead a few years and i became Lead singer for the touring band SGT. ROXX. Very 80's Pretty boy, Long hair stuff. Shared the stage with the likes of Tesla, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Slaughter, Skid Row, L.A. Guns, etc...you get the pic. Jump ahead to 1997 after a 2 year battle with Cancer...(I won)...I started Dying Breed, which later became Monkey Cocktail. The best Musicians I have ever had the pleasure of being on stage with. We released 2 Albums and played together for almost 12 years until calling it quits at the end of 2007. I will always love those guys. Shawn, Dave, Bobby and Tony. thanx guys. That brings us to Today...I Play Acoustic shows around town by myself and with Aaron Harris From the band History's End. We call ourselves Cockey Monktail. And I am Currently Putting Together A New band. When that will be completed...Who knows. Hopefully this Summer. In the mean time i will be doing my acoustic shows and playing guitar and singing with Aaron in the the band Big Foam Finger. Which is just a bunch of good friends getting together and drinkin and playing music for all our friends and alot of people we don't really know. Hope to see you in the future at a show. Keep you'r eyes open and check out your bulletins. Any questions...just ask. any drama..Fuck off. Let's do a shot and share a story. C-YA.
