About Me

BIO: Michael is an award-winning writer and photographer from southern Indiana, with an A.S. in journalism, a B.A. in philosophy, and a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University. He is currently working in the Information Technology/Communication field and freelances as a commercial photographer. In the past he has worked as a newspaper photographer and editor, and he writes because he loves the process. In addition to writing about philosophical issues, he is an avid reader, does a little bit of climbing, and travels the occasional forest path via mountain bike or afoot...Words that I try to live by: "You are mistaken my friend, if you think that a man who is worth anything ought to spend his time weighing up the prospects of life and death. He has only one thing to consider in performing any action--that is, whether he is acting rightly or wrongly, like a good man or a bad one." ~Socrates. The virtues I try to cultivate are: Courage † Wisdom † the Physical † Courtesy...(to be continued.) I am currently working on a mater's degree...I am also considering a teaching certificate as well; maybe both...who knows? I am also seriously contemplating running away from the U.S....Myspace ..
