About Me

Former east coaster who grew up on the mean streets of Maryland, I lived in NYC for over 7 years before eventually tiring of its substandard avocados. So,dropped everything and drove to San Diego where i lived for a year. Then traded in the sun and beach of SD for the rain and iPods of SF. Just moved here a few months ago and still finding my way around. I live in the Marina, which is nice, except for that foghorn that goes off every morning at 4am. You'd think with the ability to put remote control cars on mars, we could think of a less invasive way to warn boats of a little fog. Anyway, thought this might be a good way to meet some new and interesting people. Anyway, other things that may or may not be important: I can dress myself, and I'd like to see the expression "no way, Jose" come back into vogue. Oh, in case you were wondering, I have really good penmanship. [JUST MOVED BACK TO SAN DIEGO - UPDATE LATER]

My Interests

Usual suspects...music, sports, working out....love to spin and play guitar

I'd like to meet:

The opposite of the girls I've been meeting lately... unless you're reading this Amanda, in which case i mean someone just like Amanda. :)

Music:

All kinds, including house (all kinds), breaks, downtempo, jazz, nu-jazz, acid jazz, broken beat, classical, alternative (whatever that means anymore), indie, pop, synthpop, britpop, shoegaze, rock, classic rock, british invasion, ol' school hip-hop. Basically everything but country.

Movies:

Love 'em in theory, but don't go that often. My fav's of all time would have to include Zoolander, Swingers, Old School and other thought provoking films of this ilk that set me apart from most other guys.

Television:

Mostly sports, but LOVE chappelle ("huuuu-what?!") and da' ali g show. What's that you ask? The O.C.?!? No way... i mean...how could i...well, maybe just a little...alright...i love it. There, I said it. But it's only for the acting.

Books:

Just a heads up, everyone...there's this book called "The Da Vinci Code" that's going to be huge!!! Just about ready to blow up...wouldn't even be surprised if they made a movie out of it.

Heroes:

Jerry Seinfeld
