_______Wade Smith, age 29 of Yankton took his own life on Thursday, May 25, 2006 after a long battle with depression.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the Kostel Funeral Chapel in Yankton, SD. Burial of the cremated remains will take place in the Yankton Cemetery. Urn bearer will be C.Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton, is in charge of arrangements.Wade was born August 11, 1976 in Burke, SD. He lived in Lakewood, CO until 1984 when his family moved to Yankton. He touched many lives and made many friends. Those who knew him loved him greatly. His greatest love was his children. He loved music, NASCAR, hiking, fishing, BBQing, horseshoes and Frisbee golf. He had recently discovered a love of gardening, especially Bonsai Trees. He enjoyed working with his hands and made his living as a carpenter.Grateful for the memories and having shared his life are his children Sidney and Evan of Rapid City, SD, his mother Pamela , his brother C (D), nieces S and J all of SD; his sister Mona , nephews Austin and Darien, all of SD; also many other family and friends.He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, one aunt, and four uncles.He will be greatly missed and held in the hearts of all who loved him.May 30, 2006________________________________________________________
