About Me

I'm best known for writing the title songs for the films "American Splendor," "Happiness" (sung by Michael Stipe) and "The Tao of Steve." Remember the song (I Just Wanna Be) Your Steve McQueen" from "Tao"? That was me, too. I've put out four cd's, the most recent of which is "Everyone's Having Fun Tonight!" The songs sound like Nick Lowe meets Jonathan Richman as sung by Evan Dando -- if you can imagine that. Why imagine? You can hear clips of every song at www.cdbaby.com/eytanmirsky4.Previous discs, also available: "Was It Something I Said?" (2001) (www.cdbaby.com/eytanmirsky2), "Get Ready for Eytan!" (1999) (www.cdbaby.com/eytanmirsky), and "Songs about Girls (& Other Painful Subjects)" (1996) (www.cdbaby.com/eytanmirsky3).NEW: HEAR ANY FULL SONG FROM ANY OF MY 4 CD'S HERE: http://apps.facebook.com/ilike/artist/Eytan+MirskyOh, hey, here's a new version of the video someone on youtube set to my song "(I Just Wanna Be) Your Steve McQueen":

What's the story with Vince Vaughn's hair?

Someone please tell me what's up with Vince Vaughn's hair. Is it real or what? I was watching "The Breakup" in the middle of the night last night on HBO, and -- as in many of VV's films -- his hair al...

Something I Saw

Today I saw a blind man with a terrible toupee. I assume he was totally blind because he had dark glasses on and was using a cane to manuever. On his head was one of those completely unnatural hairpie...
