Tennis, iPod, my disturbing addiction to eBay and hats, cooking, live local music, poker (I stink), Maverick the evil mini-cat, playing with Maddie (my niece), really keen to travel to Tibet and the Himalayas, not as keen to travel to Europe and USA (still keen though), I'm a keen but crappy photographer, I like toast......

I'd like to meet:
The Dalai Llama but it's just not going to happen really, is it? So long as you're NOT the following you're ok ; a dickhead, a racist, a stalker, a fake, someone who wears pants with undies and bumcrack hanging out all the time, one of those really annoying telemarketers, a by-the-book-cover-judge, Lleyton Hewitt, that Hotdogs dickhead from BB.... you get the idea.

Music:
Standard answer = EVERYTHING
there are one or two notable exceptions, such as the "album" that was released by Paris Hilton.
I like my Oz Rock, and I think it's been getting more and more credible as the years have rolled on... Xavier Rudd, Something For Kate, Eskimo Joe, Area 7, Bodyjar, Powderfinger & Bernard Faning (even if he is a self-righteous arrogant wanker, he puts out some cool tunes), Nat Allison (you little champion), Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Alex Lloyd, Pete Murray, Allison Lied, etc
I also have a bit of time for non-Aussie acts, such as U2, Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, G. Love & Special Sauce, Donovan Frankenreiter, Andrew WK, Radiohead, Coldplay, Inspiral Carpets, Jose Gonzalez, Los Lobos.
I don't min a bit of doof-doof if I'm in the right frame of mind, and I like a few beats here and there. Too many artists to name here though
Then there's the classics (well, what i consider to be classics anyway), such as Duran Duran, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Icehouse, Fancy, The Cure, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Jose Feliciano, etc etc
To summarise... yes ; I like the music!
Movies:
The Princess Bride, Last Hero in China, Old School, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Top Gun, Donnie Brasco, Deadman, Dirty Dancing, Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire, The Karate Kid 1 & 2 (KK3 was just insulting and don't even go there about KK4), The Big Blue, Casino, A Night at the Roxbury, Idiot Box, Team America, Southpark : the Musical, Last Hero in China, Drunken Master 2, Rush Hour 1 & 2, The Way of the Dragon, The Ali G Movie, Ghostbusters, the Goonies, Footloose (dance your ass off), Flashdance (what a feeling), Breakdance (the first one, Breakdance 2 : Electric Boogaloo was rubbish), Dead Man (fucking brilliant film), The Departed (yes, it's as good as everyone says)
Television:
Southpark, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, House, Young Ones, Blackadder, Las Vegas, World Poker Tour, Arrested Development, Lano & Woodley, Neighbours (I don't care, you can all piss right off), NCIS, Astroboy, Battle of the Planets (which nobody else seems to remember), Oz, the Magic Bullet informercials (if I'm up, for some reason I can't stop watching it and thinking how shit it is)
Books:
Just finished "The Riders" by Tim Winton. I was really really disappointed that the book actually ended at all. This guy just has it. Really.
"The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama proved to be interesting.
Currently reading "A short history of almost everything" by Bill Bryson... it's kinda like a laymans guide to the history of science, which is interesting, but can be a trifle boring, so I'm supplementing with "204 Bell St" by The Sandman for the umpteenth time!
I also just finished reading "Scar Tissue", the autobiography of Anthony Kiedis, which was average, but not a bad popcorn sort of read.
Heroes:
Mum & Dad, Maddie, Edberg, Jordan, Bono, Ashe, Guevara... the list just goes on and on and is probably not that exciting to anyone else
