About Me

My name is Aaron and I like stuff. I used to live in San Francisco, but now I live in Berkeley. I wear glasses. I sometimes save the day. I tend to be philosophical and shy. I'm occasionally extroverted and simple. I used to work in the corporate tech sector, in engineering, engineering management, product management, and marketing. I didn't like it, no sir, too sterile and soul sucking. Some people think I write really well. I don't think this is a good example of that. I have two opposable thumbs. I hate using the pronoun I. I've risen into the literary elite of those that have been published to the Craigslist best-of section. It wasn't for a complaint, a casual encounter hookup, or a discussion relating to bowel movements. I've traveled to England, Holland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, China, Japan, Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico, and even the United States. I'm only updating this because I'm bored and it was out-of-date. I don't think this is funny. Maybe I'll update it again when I'm feeling more creative. I've learned to speak Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, and English. I've forgotten four out of five of those almost completely. I play the bass. I've even had a couple gigs. I didn't say I played it well. I never underestimate the power of cheese. I know a little bit about almost everything, quite a bit about a whole bunch of things, and a lot about a handful of things. I'll probably try fooling you into thinking everything you bring up falls into the last category. I like to be wrong. I'm rarely wrong. I may be lying. I love learning about everything, so that I'm wrong less often. I am an INTJ on the MBTI, partially explaining some of my occasional social awkwardness. I have an IQ of around 140, higher in some areas, lower in others. I think IQ is an overrated and overly simplified metric and that people who are too proud of it are a bit pompous. I have a cat. I have a headache. I don't think these things are related. I'd love to talk to you. I'd also love a drink.(To be honest, I use this site a lot less than the Facebook...)
