YAH!!!! ...Lindsey's talking about me...

About Me

Ok, dig. I'm weird. Anyways, when asked about me, the first thing that comes to my head is poetry. I write poetry and I am a poetic person. I love that I've developed a poetic personality and embraced the whole style of life. Jesus crist it makes the journey of life so much more beautiful. I'm a very observational and meticulous person and I think that's where it came from. I've always been a empathic person. When I was younger, I'd express emotion when I saw someone else upset or in pain. I'm an opinionated person (Who the hell isn't), but my opinions arn't rigid. I'm open minded to new perspectives, and my thoughs are never static. Most people hurry to solidify themselves, but I avoid that. I welcome change. Sometimes it's discontenting to have a personality that changes so much, but someday I'll become completely content with my natural and organic feelings and my personality will become more consistant. That's what I think. I feel how I feel, and it should be natural and honest. It's how I deal with my emotions.I'm an artistic person, though I don't draw really. I use to be good enough to draw actual people that wern't cartoonish people, and I drew a Jimi Hendrix charcoal that's in my pictures on myspace if you care to see. That's the last thing I've drawn as of now and it's been almost 2 years. I focused more on bettering myself at the guitar, which I've gotten really good at, but there's a lot for me to learn. There's always something new when it comes to music. I'm in jazz band at school and my music ability has grown a lot from being in there. I write songs as well, and I have a collection of songs I've wrote that I'm well proud of. I've been taking vocal lessons, and I've made quite some improvement on my voice. I can sing in a flat tone deicently, but really being able to sing with projection is still a bit above me. Learning to sing has really helped me develope an ear for music in general. Independently making the notes with out an instrument, but something you've made sound with since birth gives you perspective on notes. I want to be a singer/song writter/ musician and I want to get a band together, but I want to be known as the lead singer/guitarist of the band and the band to be known as a whole, not as it being my band. I.E. Nirvana was Nirvana, not "The Kurt Cobain Band" Haha, I bet he would have loved that.

Life: The Constant Revelation

Well, I'm thinking it's time for a hair cut. My mop-top is annoying me now more than I enjoy it. I think a change in look will be good for me; something I need. You can't see his hair all that well in...

My new guitar, "Red Blue"

My new guitar is awsome. I can't believe it. It does have a little fret buzz, and the intonation still needs to be set up, but I have 12 gage strings on there tuned 1/2 a step down, which is HARD to a...

Decisions, decisions...

I'm gonna try this thing out. I like xanga better because it's more reliable, but I like that fact that myspace is better for self-promotion than xanga is. That's good for me, what with being in a ban...
