Where to start.... Well, I lived a pretty good life in the Chicago area. My family moved around a lot, but always kept one thing very simple. Being there for one another through the good and bad and always loving one another.
I was able to make some close friends while growing up and have a life full of great memories. I always appreciated the good things we were able to experience and was able to forget about the bad. As I got older, I also experienced a lot of trouble but by 22, I was able to learn and grow with Gods help. Not sure exactly how, but he blessed me when he reached out and told me to seek help which eventually lead me to my wife. Ever since, I have continued to grow or try to follow the path Gods blessing me with the best I possibly can.
My wife and I don’t want children. It’s a firm and probably one of the best choices we have made for ourselves and is one that many do not understand. We have our dogs and cats and are happy to share our house with them. I love kids, and also love giving them back and watching them grow up. Sure, at times they are annoying. What isn’t at times? Not having children blesses me with opportunity in other areas, like traveling to visit family. Instead of having kids, I hope to one day be able to help others, travel the world, and spoil myself a bit. Sure as selfish as it sounds, it’s a desire and a choice I am happy with.
Anyways, how did my wife and I meet? We met online, and lived in half way around the world from each other. Time differences were challenging, but nothing could keep us from one another. Eventually we decided to meet in face to face and within 2 weeks decided to get married. She met my family and I traveled to Australia and met her family. Eventually, immigration let us get married and have been happy ever since. Marriage is a great thing, especially when you share a commitment and work hard to make it strong and full of love and happiness.
