people with open minds and open hearts. metaphorically speaking of course. actual open minds and open hears would be gross. unless you're a surgeon. which i'm not. though they look all cool and witty on tv. but then again, yeah. no. just nice, cool, interesting people who can hold a decent conversation.
i'm all over the board with music - been really into bhangra lately (listen to the monsoon wedding soundtrack, you'll know...). kirtan - krishna das, guru singh, guru ganesh. snatam has the voice of an angel (go to www.spiritvoyage.com and listen for yourself). willie and waylon, johnny cash, patsy cline, shooter jennings, sugarland (yes i like country - shoot me). patty rayne is amazing - go see her around town someday. patty griffin, allison kraus. the mutaytor rocks my freakin' world.
personal stories that make you want to crawl inside them... most lately, water - an indian film that took years to make and is heartbreakingly powerful... classics - anything with a hepburn... or cary grant - purrrrrr... time travel stories always capture my imagination. i'm not going to get into specific movies, because a) i can never remember any titles, but the really cheesy stuff and b) if i started on imdb... we'd be here all night.
buffy - RIP. veronica mars. west wing. grey's anatomy. boston legal. arrested development. other crap i'm too embarassed to admit that i watch. though i don't have cable so that does save me. my mom tivo's stuff for me and sends me the dvds. is that sad?
