Demi " Diva Las Vegas"

Hi my name is Demi Downing. I live a very unusual life for a girl, BUT! I LOVE IT! I'm so proud that even as a girl I can pay tribute to my hero.I was discovered while I was singing at my first Elvis tribute contest. The first show I opened was for Shawn Klush and before I came on stage none other than Sonny West came out to speak to the audience.In my travels I have had the privilage to meet some of Elvis' closest friends.Elvis had a talent that could NEVER be duplicated.But I'm so grateful that people have come to accept me like any ETA. Last year I was asked to put on a show by myself for President Jimmy Carter,afterwards he presented me with a 24k gold rose and a hand written letter of appreciation. I'm now in two books in circulation ,Copy Cats II by Bea Folgelman of Las Vegas and King for a day by Erin Feinberg. This past summer I was contaced by ABC to make an appearance on their show The Next Best Thing a show about tribute artist.I was the only child that appeared,I never thought I would win,but to be allowed in the same company of all that talent was an honor.I'll be coming back to Memphis for my fourth year to appear at the tent as we all have come to call it and other venues around Memphis,and I hope to meet you.I'm going on my fifth year of performing professionally and don't know when this wild ride will end but as long as I get asked to put on that jumpsuit you'll be seeing me.So in the words of a very talented man"until we meet again may God bless you as he's blessed me" AND in my words "I was born to be the queen for the king of rock and roll" so keep on TCBing Love Demi{} MyGen Profile Generator
