Hill Country Records

Hill Country Records is a homegrown label based in Oxford, Mississippi, and run by musicians, for musicians. The focus is on Mississippi music of all varieties with a special focus on North Mississippi roots music. We get our inspiration from the countless numbers of great Mississipi musicians past, present, and future. In 2008, Hill Country Records will release, among others, Afrissippi's new cd, "Alliance," Kinney Kimbrough's cd, "Having Fun," Ted Gainey's debut, "Aint No Songbird," and L.C. Ulmer's "Long Ways From Home."
