Insult to Injury is currently on indefinite hiatus, to be determined by the next bender.
Some people think that the band wore out their welcome (If they were ever welcome in the first place), while others know that things aren't quite the same without them. While their detractors criticize from afar you can't blame them for not really getting it. This band was never meant to be for everyone, and they never wanted to be. Through all the lineup changes and the progression of sounds through the years, their dedication to dysfunction and thirst for the next high, wether it be musically or in the bathroom at the after party remains the stuff of legend. Their fans and friends gravitated to this band because the band believed in what they did, for better or worse...they did things their way from the beginning to the end, never bowing to trends or looking for acceptance from their peers. It was a raw, unforgiving direct shot straight fucking through the truth of the matter. In the grand scheme of things Insult to Injury never really amounted to much, but to a handful of dead end kids, they meant more than most people will ever understand.
