I have that innocent look, then I speak and shot it all to hell!

About Me

This profile was edited with Thomas' Myspace Editor V3.2b
I'm outspoken, opinionated, and very protective of my family and friends. I am loyal, try to laugh as much as possible, sometimes make up my own words (I try to do that at least once a week, just for fun!!!) and try to live life to the fullest. I've been told that, at times, I can be a "tad" intimidating (I don't see it), however to my close friends...the one's I call family, I am known as one of the nicest, one of the most laid back people in the world (unless this Irish Temper of mine is brought out, then even I have to say it, "I'll knock a BITCH OUT"). I do my best to relate to EVERY PERSON I TALK TO. I will trust people to an extent, but I really hate people that lie. I'm known for my so called inspiring e-mails (in other words, my ability to write well, LOL). I've been a widow for 4 years as of Feb 27th. I haven't started back with the whole "dating" thing yet for two reasons: I had to figure out who I was, with out being Mike's wife and I still am head over hills in love with my husband...my friends and family think it's time to try. Moving on....I'm very clumsy...my real hair color is dark to med blonde (lighter when I'm out in the sun) however, I tend to darken it just for the hell of it...well, that and I'm a blonde Texan, I don't need to advertise my lack of "brain power" so to speak LOL. My biggest flaw is that my mouth tends to start moving before my brain realizes what it's saying. Did I mention I'm outspoken? I'm not the most "PC" person on the planet, hell for that mater, I've never been politically correct, and doubt I ever will be (LOL). My best feature is my ability to be "one of the guys". I enjoy live music, friends, family...yearly trips with our "Master of Ceremonies" and his beautiful wife (just got back from Cozumel on Sept 11th with more stories and an appreciation for Blue October). What can I say, life still ROCKS!

My Interests

Live music, spending time with friends and loved ones, being able to enjoy life. Reading, concerts, traveling, telling stories and making people laugh!!!!

I'd like to meet:

Friends...all kinds, but I do have high expectations. ALL of my friends are family to me.

Music:

Alternative Rock mainly, but I can handle almost anything except "women bashing" Rap...Some of the CD's I listen to are: Bascom Hill (they are amazing), Blue October, Skindred, Bowling for Soup (local boys make good)and I think I have all of their CD's, Seether, Amy Lee,3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Matchbox 20 (and Rob Thomas), Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, (hate to say it, but) Bon Jovi, Chantal Kreviazuk (beautiful voice), DAVE GRUHL (everything he has done), Foo Fighters, Stained (I was in the PIT at the Fall Brawl!!!!! Good Times), Goo Goo Dolls, Supercell and now Miser, as well as Supercell's Lead singer Jason Wheelington (what a voice), POD, Rascal Flats, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw (mostly his duets with his wife), Shania Twain, Third Eye Blind, OZZY!!!!, I love the Daredevil soundtrack, Fuel, NIN, and recently started listening to Flyleaf (yet another local group making it). I do my best to be extra supportive of the "local" bands as well as actors (SO, TO GET OFF THE MUSIC FOR A SECOND...I MET LUKE WILSON ON MYSPACE AND HE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM SOME OF HIS LOCAL FANS, HELL HE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM ALL OF HIS FANS, SO LOOK HIM UP AND TALK TO HIM, HE IS STILL A "GOOD 'OL BOY"). (Now, back to music) There are sooooooooo many more groups / bands I love, but thought this covered the "basics" to show how diverse my taste are...so I am happy as hell just to listen to music. And even though I'm 33 I love a wonderful LIVE SHOW. Rock ON!

Movies:

I like ALL kinds of movies so this is a hard one. I have a very broad range of movie likes. Just off the top of my head, here's what comes to mind: Crash, Remember Me, Walk the Line, Sweet Home Alabama, Vertical Limit, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, Beyond Boarders, White Noise, The Big Bounce, While You Were Sleeping, Home Fries, Birth, The Ring (the first one), The Notebook, Hitch, The Life Aquatica, The Pacifier, Hostage, The Incredibles, DOGMA!!!!, Monster, The Punisher, Closer, both of the Father of the Bride's, Paparazzi, The Day After Tomorrow, Almost Heroes, Eight Men Out, Fallen, K-Pax, L. There are actually a lot more that I didn't list...crazy, huh! Now, if you have never seen: K-Pax, The Green Mile, Hotel Rowanda, Crash, Beyond Boarders, The Notebook, Dogma, Evolution, or Black Hawk Down...you really should, those are honestly in the top 10 for me!!!!!!

Heroes:

My heroes happen to be my family and friends. I've watched with awe how they make me a better person, and will always be grateful for that.
