BIO: Robert Howard, AKA DJ Biz, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. With both of his parents being music lovers, he had no choice but to be exposed to different genres of music, ranging from jazz, gospel, blues, and soul. But it was in '89 that he sought a relationship with hip hop and r&b, when he bought his first albums (LL, Fresh Prince, Big Daddy Kane, New Edition, Michael Jackson).
He started chasing the dream in 2000, paying dues by assisting close friends who were aspiring artists. His initial involvement was helping with song concepts and implementing creative marketing strategies. Developing promotional mixtapes pushed to him finding the turntables. "For me, being a DJ is being in control. People have expectations when they party and they want to be taken somewhere." MC and friend Badlucc, from Watts, California, noticed how he stayed busy handling his business and gave him the appropriate nickname Biz.
"As a DJ, I developed a gift to be able to choose the right songs; songs that people respond to. Its amazing to watch what happens when you add music to a room full of strangers, it transforms into rememberable experience." DJ'ing sparked an interest of creating music himself, which led to him picking up the production equipment and pen.
In 2004, he recieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pan African Studies from Cal State Northridge. Aside from music, Biz spends time working with youth & young adults and his community through various non-profit organizations. In 2005, he founded his own, an after school music mentorship program. Biz also stays active through sports and spending time with his son.

Um yea, I love Jesus, my family, music, chicken. Life is good man! Having a son has really intesified life and I couldn't be more committed to it. I've definitely re-evaluated and focused on my priorities. I'm pursuing my passions. I really love learning new things.
I often over analyze everything. Since I finished college, I dont party unless there is a super special occasion. I dont drink, (gotta love that H2O though!). I dont smoke. I think I'm a "nice guy", but if u cross the line I will hurt your feelings fareal. I'm not who I wanna be yet but I'm growing.
