A recently retired Sailor (21-plus years!) living in the desert, I'm now working for the U.S. Army full-time as a civilian and having a great time shooting movies (as an extra, right now) in my spare time.Not too long ago, I filled three very different supporting roles in the Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre production of "Gypsy". There was a LOT of talent in the cast! They were so much fun and veyr easy to work with; I'm looking forward to doing more productions with them in the future.I did four shoots for "The Kingdom" while they were in the Valley of the Sun in 2006: in the opening moments (wounded by a suicide bomber, then killed by a car bomb), as a driver for some highway scenes, and as a corpse being fingerprinted by the absolutely charming Jennifer Garner (on whom I got to play a practical joke). The last day of shooting (Oct. 8), we re-did some long-distance shots of the softball game that opens the movie. It was supposed to open April 13, but got pushed back to the end of September.In July, I had fun playing a zombie in the indie flick "Life Room", and then took an eight-week voice-over class with the thought of getting into that medium eventually. I enjoy doing different voices and accents (I read many books to my son! *smiling*), and would love to branch out into cartoons or commercials.Shortly after, I did my first voice-over work: narrator for a documentary about a reptile sanctuary here in Phoenix. I read the piece in several different accents (British [the more refined east London dialect], Southern U.S., and my natural Midwest "non-accent").
