In the ever changing realm of Hip Hop music, it can be can be difficult for artists to keep up with trends, and whats going on in the "mainstream" while maintaining their artistic integrity. However, don't conform to trends and what everybody else is doing. Instead they make there own lane. The latter is MC/producer H2O.Since writing his first rhyme to impress a girl at age 11, H2 has always prided himself originality. During his high school years H2, along with three close friends formed the group The S.I.K.S., which created a diminutive buzz, performing shows and at open mics throughout the tri-state. While young teens the group released an independent album on their own Lethal Injection label, which was rare at the time, titled "2006" in 1997. During the same year the S.I.K.S. won a Hip-Hop showcase in Philadelphia hosted by producer DJ Stoup from the underground group (JEDI MIND TRICKS). Along with David Drinnan and Alfonzo"AT" Thomas has went on to become a founding member of Ivy Storm Entertainment. His wide range of influences from A Tribe Called Quest to Hendrix have unquestionably affected him musically. His first real taste of wanted to be an MC came when his cousin gave him Kool G Rap "Road to the Riches" cassette; he has "been in love since that day." Born in NEWARK, NJ, H2 grew up listening to prominent DJs, Red Alert and Kid Capri on local radio stations listening, taping and studying the art. "I am heavily influenced by the golden years. To me, if you don't know that era you don't truly know Hip Hop music."H2O is currently has a mixtape under his belt "The College Graduate Mixtape" (Which title is a semi-spoof of Kanye West's College Dropout album)and "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP RAP STAR" Mixtape on the way this spring. In addition to the mixtape circuit H2 is also the studio working dilligently on several projects. While constantly producing, a full length debut album of his goup The G.O. is also on the horizons.Tentatively titled the Grand Opening slated for release fall 2008 under the Ivy Storm imprint.SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT
