My name is Wendy. I am formally of New Orleans, but as a result of Hurricane Katrina, I am now residing in Ponchatoula (about an hour away). Katrina destroyed many lives, not only in it's destructive path, but the aftermath. But Katrina is not who I am, I am a survivor, looking to move forward and put the past behind me. I still drive back and forth to New Orleans every day for work which is fun in itself as anyone who commutes for work can imagine.
