Ha ha! Stupid bands, you can't add me any more! No more friend request box full of crap every time I sign on!
I'd like to meet amazing people! Like:
Anything, really. Like rock stuff the most though :-)
Favourites include:
- HIM
- Green Day
- Foo Fighters
- Goo Goo Dolls
- Killers
- Thursday
- Mars Volta
- Remy Zero
- REM
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Evanescence
- Stereophonics
- Muse
- Snow Patrol
- The Automatic
- The Used
I also like less mainstream stuff (because it's old/Celtic/totally weird) which include:
- Enya
-Ultravox
-Duran Duran (which I liked before Donnie Darko, new album etc. that made everyone else notice... notably people who had mocked me earlier for singing "Rio" to myself)
- David Bowie
- Lord of the Rings soundtracks
- Alison Moyet
- Jean Michel Jarre
And so on... also like classical, but in small amounts, although I do love Moonlight Sonata.
I don't have any particular music scene or whatever- Ali insists I'm emo, but that's only because I have floppy hair and look a bit tragic most of the time.

I adore films!
I think the new Asian cinema coming out is fantastic. I love a lot of them, but my favourites of Asian cinema are:
- Ringu trilogy
- The two Grudge (Ju-On) films
- Dark Water (superb)
- A Tale Of Two Sisters
-Phone
- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
- House Of Flying Daggers
- Hero
- Kung Fu Hustle
- Sleeping Bride
- Whispering Corridors
- Memento Mori
I basically love Asian cinema (with probably the exception of Audition which makes me feel sick). People who say they don't want to watch it "because it's subtitled" really annoy me. My father is one of these people.
I do love Western films too! Favourites of these include:
- Muriel's Wedding
- Nightmare Before Christmas
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Donnie Darko
- Shaun Of The Dead
- Van Helsing
- Overboard
- Delirious
- The Ring
- The Ring Two
- The Grudge
- Memoirs Of A Geisha (it is Western, lol- written by an American and produced by an American company)
- Lord Of The Rings trilogy
- X Men 1 and 2
- The Mummy
- Indiana Jones (well, I am an archaeologist, after all)
- All Monty Python films!
Modern TV kind of sucks. I do love old stuff, hee hee. The more modern things I like are:
- Neighbours
- Doctors (yeah, student afternoon TV!)
- DEAL OR NO DEAL
- Lost
- Scrubs
- Green Wing
- Planet Earth
- Life On Mars
- My Family
- Smallville
- Hustle
- Cash in the Attic
- Balamory!!
Yes, I do love the rubbish daytime TV. It's so easy to sit there and feel your brain slowly melt.
I do admittedly love the old stuff. This includes:
- Blakes 7!! (And I'm not ashamed... although I probably should be)
- Red Dwarf
- Bugs
- Vicar of Dibley
- Monty Python
- Blackadder
- Porridge
- Not The Nine O Clock News
- YES MINISTER
- The Good Life
And so on. I do love the old stuff!
And, of course, I do love this guy!
I love most books (although I've never managed to get the hang of Dickens for some reason). Favourite authors are:
- Terry Pratchett
- Robin Hobb
- Harper Lee
- Alexander McCall Smith
- J. K. Rowling (not a big fan of book 6 though)
- J. R. R. Tolkien
My sort of "stand alone" books I love (because I haven't read others by them, or they haven't written others- although that should probably include Harper Lee, since the only book she wrote was "To Kill A Mockingbird") are:
- The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
- Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
- Lucky by Alice Sebold
- The Vesuvius Club by Mark Gatiss
- Leon Trotsky
- Che Guevara
- Ernest Shackleton
- Humphrey Appleby? Humphrey must be a real person!
