Welcome to my profile. My names James and I'm from a little town in the North of Scotland called Alness. However, I don't live there anymore (only on visits) as I work away. At the moment I live in Lisburn in Northern Ireland. I really like it here. Ireland is a really beautiful part of the world, however, nothing really compares to the Highlands. ;p
I was once of the opinion that it would be great to be stress free, and that just lounging on a beach all day would be awesome. Then a friend told me that it would be horrible because without stress and worry and sadness, we can't get excited or happy when something good happens to us. She explained it better! and I think that she was on to something. Without extreme emotions I guess we're just zombies... and I don't want to be a zombie. I want to live my life to the full. Without the fear of failure, we can never trully feel alive. I suppose it's all very well saying that and then not doing anything about it. That's why I have done things to test myself this year. For far too long I sat on the fence worrying, not anymore. I'm feeling the benefits of my new attitude.
I guess that I could say that I'm a bit of an internet junkie. I actually love it. Like, seriously LOVE it. It's such a brilliant invention and you can find out so much interesting stuff on it. Anybody that says that the internet is a bad thing is an idiot. I mean, yes, it can be used for bad things, but people who do that are abusing it and exploiting the things that make it great.
I reckon that I should also mention that I NEED sleep! I know that that statement was pretty obvious but I don't think that you understand me. You see, I don't just like it or do it because i have to, I actually NEED it. I'm addicted. I actually find myself going to bed early sometimes just so that I can experience it for that little bit longer. I generally need 7 hours a night solid sleep, but on a weekend that increases considerably. ;D
