I'm a musician. I'm currently studying jazz flute at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I have trained classically until recently, and have won such awards as The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation award, and The John Coltrane Foundation Scholarship. I am interested in all types of music, and especially in helping to move music forward. Besides playing flute, I also sing, and play various saxophones, alto and bass flute, piccolo, guitar, and a little piano.
I'm an actress. I have been in 8 R.I.T. student films, two of which are on IMDb: The Summer of Kate (see the trailer) and Glory to the Conquerors of Space, and I was an extra in the feature film Cherry Crush. I have also acted in many musicals and plays, including The Madwoman of Chaillot, in which I played Josephine.
I'm an artist. I like to paint and glue things together. I'm a baker. I enjoy my kitchen and my basil plant. I'm a dancer. I like trees. I like the smell of old books. And wildflowers. And rain. I like maps and love letters and pajamas and protest songs.
I want to travel the world and play music and act and paint and photograph and laugh and dance and spin and surf and film and name a new star and put out a record and own my own bakery and explore the universe and shout and make a difference and LIVE!
