About Me

Hey everyone, I'm Ashley, I'm a 22 year-old army wife, mom and student! I live here in Fort Benning, Georgia. I am originally from good ole P-town Nebraska. I am living here and going to school here while my husband, Dylan, is on his second tour in Iraq. He will not be home until June sometime. Deployment is the suckiest thing in the world. I can't stand being away from the man I love with all my heart and soul but if I had to wait ten years I would! We have a gorgeous daughter together, her name is RyAnne and she will be 3 in March. She is so smart and funny. She looks just like her Daddy and has an attitude like her Mommy. I am in the Medical Assisting program at Columbus Tech. I will be done with my program in September and I am going to graduate with honors in December! In October we will be moving to Fort Hood, Texas. Pretty excited about that. Dylan is a Sergeant now! I'm so proud of him! Hooah! We still have quite a few years left and he may make a career out of it. Anyway, my family and friends are of the utmost importance to me and I love and miss them dearly. Anything else you want to know....just ask!

Music:

I'm pretty versatile with music. I love everything from Mozart to Fleetwood Mac to of course, Incubus. But, give me an Incubus cd and a loud stereo to play it on, and I'm on cloud nine.

Movies:

I swear, Dylan has seen every movie known to man...but I'm a sucker for chick flicks and comedies. I'll watch something scary every now and then, but only when D is home.

Television:

I don't watch a whole lot of tv but I have my shows. I won't name them all but I'm addicted to General Hospital, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Houswives. I enjoy old Sex and the City and Roseanne reruns. I can't miss an episode of Survivorman! Wierd-huh?

Books:

I won't tell you what I'm currently reading because it changes every few days. I love autobiographies and Nicholas Sparks. I'll also read a good Mary Higgins Clark every now and then. I'm a loser and I've read all the freakin Harry Potter books twice, and I have no idea why J.K Rowling decided to say Dumbledore was gay...I mean what's the point?

Heroes:

My husband and my Dad, the two most awesome men in my life! Shaun-your're pretty cool too.

Reasons to Never Drive in Georgia or Alabama
