"THE REVOLUTION STARTS AT HOME" - My name is Ralf Real Shock, born in 1963, and since the end of 1976 into Punk Rock. Well, in the past I was the singer in some local mostly unkown punk rock bands, like NOTAUSGANG (1980), DEAD CAPITAL (1985), ZAKONAS (1988), the BRAGGARTS (1992) and finally the SONIC DOLLS (1994). On our ways we supported Bands like thee TRASH BRATS, THE LURKERS, JEFF DAHL, SLOPPY SECONDS, BORIS THE SPRINKLER, THE QUEERS, WALTER LURE in New York City or the U.K. SUBS. I was also making punk rock buttons, doing a radio show, making my own little fanzines like "Brat" in the 70ties and "Vicious Times" in the 80ties (Ltd. Edition Of 77 Copys!), and organize a lot of punk rock shows. Just the stuff, what a punk rocker M-U-S-T (what?) do, when he is a little bit younger.Today I..m the producer of the german fanzine "3rd Generation Nation". During money problems I stop the print-issue after 12 years in Sept. 2004 with the last number, which was No. 28. Now, I..m on-line and doing my stuff, first record reviews, news and gig news, and than sometimes doing interviews or a live review, when a real good band comes to town. I review material mostly from smaller punk rock labels (very welcome!), but of course also the new releases from bigger labels like Captain Oi!, Cherry Red, Detour, Overground, TKO, Bomp!, Disaster, BYO, Damaged Goods, Dead Beat, Fat Wreck etc.After 30 years in the so-called "pUnKrOcK-Biz.-Mafia-SameOldStory" I..m still looking and searching for new bands. Apart from the fakin.. Poser-Bullshit, I think MySpace should be a good place for "3RD Generation Nation". Also it..s a good chance to stay in a better contact, with all those nice people, who I mostly met over the last 15 years with the release of "3RD Generation Nation".Stay pUnK!
