Born: May 7, 1980, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -As a youngster B-SKE spent most of his childhood days growing up on the hardcore streets of North Philadelphia. It was in these streets where he learned everything from the drug game to the rap game, and all that lies between. As a hard-headed, street-savvy kid, B-SKE often found himself involved in close brushes with the law or budding heads with neighborhood rivals. And through such encounters is how the prefix of his rap name was coined - B-SKE(short for) BABSKE: Bad A..@ Brian.From an early age B-SKE knew that becoming a rap icon was his calling. Influenced by some of hip-hops greatest innovators such as Rakim, Biggie and Jay-Z, just to name a few, B-SKE became determined to join the ranks of lyrical greatness. Whether he was performing at local school talent shows or rocking the mic at around the way basement jams, B-SKE was definitely carving his niche in the hip-hop world. Although, frequently faced with street-life dilemmas, SKE knew that his musical dreams were being overshadowed and that life changes had to be made.Upon graduating from high school in 1998, with the encouragement of family and friends, B-SKE decided to leave Philadelphia and pursue a college career at a state school in Millersville, Pennsylvania. During his tenure at Millersville University BAB was able to take a deep breathe and really concentrate on the things that were most important to him his music and his family. It was on the campus of MU that B-SKE joined forces with a long time friend to create the rap group NORF STAR. With the explosive track Yah Mean recorded at a campus studio, NORF STAR became an instant buzz at MU and surrounding colleges alike. Although, the life of NORF STAR was short lived, the success and credibility of B-SKE was not.Returning to the likes of a solo artist, B-SKE continued to blaze emcee battles and destroy microphones at college shows and radio stations throughout the tri-state area. He has also opened up for artist such as,MOBB DEEP, --------------. As B-SKE became heavily consumed with his music he decided to leave school and pursue his rap career full time. In doing so, B-SKE has built a studio in Philadelphia, PA where he spends most of his time writing and producing original tracks. Over the past six years B-SKE has devoted blood, sweat and tears to crafting and honing his lyrical and musical skills..Today, B-SKE is undeniably a force to be reckon with both on the mic and on the boards as well..
