Good night, sweet prince. What is music if not a series of progressions; both literally and figuratively?
Plagues of A Human Race is this progression. The ideas of planning and repetition are unknown
to the Plagues; being replaced by skull pounding rhythms and an irresistible
groove to provoke an involuntary bobbing of the head and stretching of the smile. Formed out
of hard work and dedication, they are a family of brothers bound by blood, sweat and failure.
In the short years since Plagues first started in Richmond, they have carved out a niche
for themselves as a new blend of tastes as well as talent and ambition. These five young
men are constantly at work to break the boundaries and offer something new to the metal
community in hopes of forming one strong bond to share the best and worst of times with
With a solid line up and a foolhardy ambition these five young men aim to do this the rest
of their lives. There is no smoke and mirrors to this ensemble; just a constant drive to
stimulate an aural sensation that stirs compassion of the heart as well as the ferocity of
the body to a breaking point. Be on the lookout for us, come to a show, buy a shirt,
talk to us, we're charming fellows and not stopping anytime soon.
