Eric "Nealante'" Phillips
is a American songwriter and music producer. He was born December 24, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia. He frist became intrested in music at the age of 11, where he started playing drums at Sky Haven elementery. He continued his musical career in high school where he became the leader of the drum section in the marching band at Walker High School now known as Mcnair Sr. High. During his high school career he started producing for the hit group Jodeci as a goast producer in The basement crew aka Swing Mob, from which he met and started working under Tim Mosley best known as Timbaland.
== The Beganning ==
In the Mid to late 90's Nealante' was one of the producers working with Devante' on severl projects that were associated with the Swing Mob label. Nealante' whom Devante' would later rename NEO produced a number of songs on the hit group Jodeci two of which apeared on the album ''The Show,The After-Party,The Hotel''. A group called Black & Mild later renamed by Timbaland as Playa was one of those acts.
After the departure from the swing mob label he worked soley under Timbaland. Determined to make a name for himself, he would soon leave Timbaland's camp but only to be united with another producer Tricky Stewart at Red Zone Entertainment, where he started working with artist Sam Salter and Producer Tricky Stewart. Kevin She'kspere Briggs would later join them.
== The Transition ==
In 2003 Nealante' Teamed up with his cousin K. Rich (CEO) of the label Savoir Fair. He and K.Rich interviewed several artist before deciding who would be the first to put a face and sound to the name Savori Fair. After an extensive search it was finally decided that the artist to kick the label off would be an artist by the name of Al Biggz aka Mr. Atlanta. In 2004 Nealante' appeared on Al Biggz album intitled The Rebirth released under the Savoir Fair label where he produced three of the twenty songs on the album. This would also be the year he returned to his roots. Being brought up in the church it was only natural that he would end up producing gospel. Using only the name Eric Phillips he appeared on the Luther Barnes album ''Somehow Someway'' realeased in 2005. After run ins with sever artist, producer, and executive friends he knew that there was a calling for him to produce not only gospel but every thing from Hiphop to R&B to Pop
. In 2005 Nealante' started a production company of his own called MusicRoom Productions. His first artist Montana aka Montana Da Mac is schedule to be released sometime in 2008 under the label Savoir Fair/Koach intilted The Life I Chose. The title track "The Life I Chose" and several others that will appeare on the debut album were produced by Nealante'. The First Single Rock On (Do the Rockman) featuring Dj Unk has already reached number 75 on the U.S. Billboard charts.
