Birmingham Buzz

About Me

The Birmingham Buzz is an "e-zine" based out of Birmingham, Alabama. The Buzz was created to build the attendance at shows. The Buzz is several people involved in the Bham scene, it's just not one person. It's the people that truely love the music and chances are you will always be able to find one of us a few nights of the week at a show.
Our main focus, of course, is the Bham bands. Not only to get more locals into them and raise their attendance, but the BIG thing is getting our bands OUR of Bham and into venues across the country. Our second main goal is to help out all the Southeastern bands. We believe 100% in the trade for a show belief. By helping out a a band in North Carolina, hopefully they will return the favor and give one of our bands a show in their state.
So we welcome you to become a "Buzzer" and after you drop in here, go drop in at our forum .
If you have a show coming up be sure to post your flyer (or list of shows as we will only update our calendar once a week) as a comment. Just be respectful of the image size. We've found that 300 x 400 is ideal and anything over 450x600 is too much (and may be removed by the us).
As for our friends list. The way it works... 4 bands every week. 4 new people every week. So help us help the scene.
