About Me

What about me??? This is a hard question to answer. I am mid-50's, single (widowed) with a grown daughter. I grew up in a small town and moved to Indianapolis as soon as I could (upon graduation from high school). I enjoy living in the city because there is so much to see and do. There is so much variety - from museums to art fairs. If you want to dine out the selection is endless.I am a down-to-earth woman who has been single several years and who has become very independent. I have a job that I love and that I have been at for 20+ years.

My Interests

Movies; Dining In and Out; Hanging out with friends and family; basketball; football (if someone can explain it to me so that I can understand it!); gardening; walking; traveling; reading.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet a man who compliments my lifestyle. A man who is independent and isn't looking for someone who is needy but has a life of their own. There is so much to enjoy in life and I miss having someone special to share it with. My life is busy with work and friends/family but there is still room for that special someone.

Music:

I enjoy a large variety of music from the oldies to some rap. Classical and jazz are included as well.

Movies:

I enjoy most movies except Horror. Some of my favorite movies include Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

Television:

In the last several years I have gotten into watching more television and have several shows that I enjoy including Lost, Desperate Housewives, CSI, Survivor, Ghost Whisperer, etc.

Books:

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I am in the process of reading the Harlan Cohen novels.

Heroes:

All the men and women in uniform that put their lives on the line to protect America and it's people.
