I enjoy listening to many types of music, I spend way too much time on itunes. I grow and hybridize plants. I am interested in learning about plants from Uruguay. If anyone out there knows something, drop me a line. I also collect plants that originate from Mexico. I have been making wine for 16 years: a lot of Cabernet from Alexander Valley and some Zinfandel from Russian River Valley. Right now I am fascinated with Chardonnay. It is really hard for a home winemaker to make white wine. For some strange and unknown reason I am fascinated with Polynesian culture and the topography of Colorado. My parents live there in a high altitude mining town so I get to visit and do a lot of fishing and hiking up mountains. I like pets, I have three siamese cats and one stupid...er..... i mean "nice" dog. I have tropical fish I keep outside! I enjoy spending time in San Francisco and checking out MOMA and the Legion of Honor, plus hiking around Crissy Field. Strybing Arboretum is another fave spot. Hanging out around Santa Cruz is always nice, especially Cowell's Beach ( check out photo). I love Santa Barbara! I like ethnic food, specifically Vietnamese, plus I enjoy Hawaiian poke and local Bodega Bay crab. Ramey chardonnay is the best, and Rosenblum Zinfandels rip!
