About Me

I'm a 30 year old mom of a two year old boy; he is just amazing and the center of my world! I'm quiet yet opinionated, especially on political/social issues. I consider myself to be pretty up to date on the issues of the day (no matter how depressing).I would love to travel someday. If given the chance, Scotland would be the first place I would go!!!

I suppose thats more than you really cared to know. I hope to continue meeting new people, as well as those I haven't seen in awhile!

My Interests

Spending time with my guys, Jeff and Hunter! Reading, yoga, wine (preferably Chardonnay), singing...Although my dream of one day becoming a singer is fading further into oblivion with each passing year, I have fun and take what I can get, which is usually a Karaoke bar, or your assorted competition (I recently sang on the air as part of a contest at a large local radio station, that was a great experience!). I'm a novice cake decorator, endeavoring to become better with each special occasion!Talk radio: Laura Ingraham, Rusty Humphries, Howie Carr

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Movies:

A video someone did of Dear Frankie: without a doubt, my favorite movie!!!Loved 300, too!!! One of the best scenes (from a woman's perspective, anyway)!

Books:

I've been reading since the age of 2 and 1/2, though I've progressed from Little Golden Books to mostly romance novels, to tell you the truth! I am truly a romantic at heart! I'm very particular in what I read, though; never been one for the cheap supermarket shelf variety. I used to be able to get through a book in a week or less; not a chance these days! I am currently in the midst of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, which is, in and of itself a huge undertaking. My other favorite author is Karen Marie Moning... that woman can write!

Heroes:

The men and women of the United States Military.

Why can dems not handle opposing viewpoints???
