Coming from the streets of South West Atlanta (S.W.A.T.S.) is the Atlanta native THEIDA SALAZAR. Salazar is an artist that's emerged out of the South to take the music and film industry to new dimensions. Salazar– the name alone stands for many things, but his thespian abilities, prolific writing style, and conscious lyrics as a hip hop artist set him apart. His ability to communicate social, economic, and political issues into his music, acting, and screenplays is what makes him unique as a southern artist.• Salazar has principle roles in award winning films Morning Song Way, as Carson Williams the Sociopathic Drug Dealer and Man of GOD (M.O.G.). • Salazar is featured in the film ATL, & HBO's Warm Springs. • Salazar was the voice of many characters on The Tom Joyner Morning Radio Show’s, “It’s Your World”. • Salazar ran for House of Representatives in 2004 in the 44th District. • Salazar was State Director for Veterans for John Kerry. • Salazar is a U.S. Naval Intelligence Specialist (Res.). • Salazar displayed his combat, and sharp-shooting expertise with fierce gun battles in the Blockbuster films: GI-JOE (2009-release), Transformers, and Next. • Salazar was the arrogant MTV club promoter in All Lies on Me; the film focusing on Tupac Shakur’s last 48 hours on earth. • Salazar also started a nonprofit organization Honesty Incorporated which is comprised of Honest Doctors, Lawyers, & Teachers. • Salazar is a member of The Screen Actor’s Guild (S.A.G.) and American Society of Composers and Publishers (A.S.C.A.P.) and Kappa Alpha Psi (KA?). • Salazar is currently shopping his screenplays in Hollywood.His songs and screenplays are designed to uplift and elevate the conscience of everyone.
