I will tell you, however, that my friends like to use me as a bargaining chip to get drinks because the SAY I don't look my age. There have been many drinks won, honestly, but if you're a "numbers person", no harm no foul. Cya around, perhaps.
I opened a page because I wanted a place to start putting out all of my writings. I'm a songwriter, you see, and one of those people that just can't seem to get the guts to really put it out there and see what happens. So... this seemed like a good, middle of the road place to start.
During the day, I help people finance homes. I love it because I am constantly meeting new people, and finding the right loan product is like putting together a puzzle. I would guess that more than half of my business is first-time buyers, and I love being able to help them get into that first house...
I am Mom to a 14 year old daughter, whom I adore. I am amazed daily at how quickly she is growing and changing and maturing, and sometimes, it is a challenge. I like that I'm starting to get HER hand me down shoes, but I hate it when I come home to find my closet or earring box has been raided!
In my spare time, I write a blog for my local paper on American Idol... right now I'm writing about the Local competition. It was a contest, and I got picked, and I really enjoy it. (Another reason for this page).
Also, I was recently elected National President of my professional association, NAPMW. (National Association of Professional Mortgage Women... www.napmw.org). I get to travel for them a fair amount, and as a result of being part of the association, I have friends all over the country! It's truly a great group!
