Matt's attention to detail is second to none. Add to this, his strong technological background and in-depth knowledge of both band backline, and studio equipment, you see why he's one of the most capable producer engineers in town, and the fastest protools user we know! He's been working with Miloco Studios for almost ten years and has built his reputation working with established and up and coming indie acts, as well as cutting edge heavy rock and metal bands. He's become a favourite engineer with legendary producer Colin Richardson and has helped record and mix albums for the likes of Slipknot and Chimaira. Matt has been able to make full use his musical background, producing projects for French act Mass Hysteria, Fightstar, Ash, Funeral For A Friend and South African sensation Crash Car Burn, amongst others.
Last year Matt was busy working in the States with new metal band Hostility, Ireland with rock band Numinous, and singer songwriter Foy Vance. Much of last summer was spent working on Trivium album "The Crusade", followed by albums for fellow Roadrunner artists Machine Head (The critically acclaimed 'Blackening') and the debut album for Daath. 2007 has been just as busy for Matt. He spent two months tracking with Bullet for my Valentine in the US, produced new tracks for exciting new Warners signing Gallows, and has just finished work on the new As I Lay Dying album.
