Yannick aka D-votion is 18 years old and he's from Geneva. His interest for electronical music was prompted by artists like Ferry Corsten. He started his music's career in 2001 when he has met Ben aka Peter D. Since then they have started to mix tracks together. They played together for the first time in 2004 in a club when they was 15 !!! Since 2004 he regulary appeares in Geneva's clubs, and radios like Sky-one and ETN.fm, Rouge Platine or OneFM.
Having a tiny producer growing inside, D-Votion really started to produce in 2004. Working on everything from Trance, Progressive to Techno or Breakbeat to Minimal D-Votion's musical horizon is bigger every day. He does not have any particular style, he feels the music such as it comes. He produces with Peter D. with different aliases such as "Santiago & Sebastian".
In 2005 they found together Retroactive-Production in order to promote their works.
