Well, I am also in the process of collaborating ideas through quotes, samples, lyrics, symbols, music, and ofcourse blogs, to a common "circle" theme : "The Point; Lost in Translation" ... metaphorically and literally speaking ... I relate / teach / mix / match several different points to other random points and "connect the dots" to a common "circle" theme. By connecting them as points and relating them as points, they stay just that: points. I basically turn the 'sport' of tossing a 'point' around [ie; ping pong, football] to a mentally stimulating / intellectual level.. and then on top of that add music and dance.. .. .. .. or is it the other way around.. . . . ? So you wanna be a DJ... ?First you have to know music / How do you know music? / Through dance / How do you dance? / By knowing the music. / See / It all spins around/ just like a record./ The DJ spins the record / the record spins a sound / reaching your mind / body / and soul / causing one to rave. Music & art are somewhat of an outlet for me.. my main hobby. It's a great 'medium' to express myself with; be it through creating, writing, mixing, and dancing. I'm kinda an eccentrically aged soul who tends to do things her own way, which sometimes gets me into trouble. But everything does eventually go around "full circle" and therefore 'I'm slow, but I "get it"!? But hey... ya live ya learn, eh. If ya get me...swell! If not...oh well. I'm not doing this for any glory or fame {although I don't think I'd complain if any was bestowed on me though.. I am doing this for a great purpose!} Personally, I think the human race is basically killing itself... we are our "own worst enemy". It's like the collective whole of our society is depressed and needs a new perspective... so I have a new 'school of thought' I'm trying to communicate in an old skool-style.. it's a slow process.. because humans communicate around 93% through body-language alone!!! Therefore : "The Point; Lost in Translation"...?!. I am motivated by my children and the death of a dear friend, Tracy (R.I.P. April 15/2004) who died from a drug over-dose.. one time dose. SOoo.. I'd love to re-create the same 'high' I felt the few times I did indulge ASWELL as the 'high' I felt countless times while I danced on the dancefloor at a local private club absolutely sober all night/morning (i didnt know anyone at the club at the time) .. the 'high' on the dance floor surpassed any other I'd ever experienced even through synthetically induced 'high' .. and it's solely due to the perspective/ point-of-view and how I relate them to the music. "connect the dots la la lala". When I dance, I'm told by the 'average-joe' that I make them want to dance just by watching me. ............................................................ .............................. WHO I LIKE TO CONNECT WITH: ............................................... --- people who are open-minded, weird, intelligent, creative, thoughtful, can "agree to disagree" and handle sarcasm!! Btw, I'm not one for "page stalking", sorry... it's not that I'm a snob or anything... well, sometimes maybe... lol k anywhooo... do do doo [whistles] But seriously though.. read my blogs: they're the fragments of my mind up until now [which i'm in the process of editing].. which all connect to one basic point that seems to take waaaaay longer than it should to be "translated"/explained. So I guess it's a good thing that I have alot of time on my hands these days!!If you enjoy "deep" thinking at almost Quantum levels and are open to different ideologies and spiritual beliefs which are quite basic and logical, then you may be interested in the way I think and may even get what I'm 'trying' to say. If so, let me know. But let me remind you that my "blogs" are merely fragmented thoughts sketched out of an over active mind. [I don't get out much :P] l.GRay
