I was born on Sept. 23, 1917 in Tulancigo, Hidalgo, Mexico. I began professionally kicking ass at the age of 16 under my own name, at the Peralvillo Cozumel Arena, on June 28, 1934. My aliases included Rudy Guzman, El Enmascarado, El Hombre Rojo, El Murcielago 2, and El Demonio Negro. I first appeared in the ring under the name "EL SANTO" eight years later (debuting July 26, 1942). ALthough you my not find me in the ring, I continue to protect the innocent from the clutches of evil.
