About Me

About me?? That is tough, I don't even know, let alone being able to describe it to other people. Well, I recently earned my PhD in the field of Immunology (studying host responses to diseases, development of vaccines, etc.) So, what does that mean? Well, I sit around all day, try to think of experiments, perform them, go huh, that was weird, go home, and start all over again the next day.
I'm also a SCUBA diving instructor which is a great way for me to get paid for doing something i love :-) I work at a dive shop on weekend when I'm not teaching classes & I try to do as many "fun" dives as I can. Being in San Diego is nice since it gives me easy access to the ocean & a variety of dive sites, just as living in Seattle opened up numerous dive opportunities around the Puget Sound & even up into Canada . My annual trips to the Caribbean have also allowed me to dive some great places - Cozumel, Roatan, St Thomas, Belize, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, the Bahamas, St Maarten, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo etc - and see some amazing things.
I like to play guitar. I really suck, but I'm getting better. I started playing about 10 months ago. My fingers no longer hurt, just wish I was better. It is an obsession, every spare minute of the day at home and it is in my hands. I guess it takes the place of other things guys are obsessed with holding.
I guess that isn't too much about me. I personally am very restrained. I have an uncontrollable child that likes to have fun, but my world has chained him up inside.

Who the hell am I to decide who an up and coming band is, but I do know that they rocked my world for $10.  It was a 4 piece band that has a heavy base line.  The way to make me happy??...
