Official HPC Music

Yo whatsup? This is your boy RED introducing you to the OFFICIAL HPC MYSPACE PAGE. I brought this page out as another way for listeners, fans, supporters, etc.. to enjoy more of our music. This page is for strictly HPC music and info. If you don't already know, HPC is a two man group consisting of me(RED) and my homie C-MEEZZ. We are based outta Richmond,VA in the HIGHLAND PARK area. The name HPC stands for HIGHLAND PARK COALITION. We started our group in 2005. It started off wit a diss track to some idiot talking greasy ova a track. After the first track we made was a fire ass song, we figured we'd give this rap thing a sho nuff try. In a couple of months we put together a mixtape called HPC Da Mixtap VOL 1. It was mainly distributed throughout Richmond and recieved high reviews from all over. It was deemed a classic in the hood. So coming off the success of our first mixtape, we decided to let everyone know it wasn't a fluke by releasing HPC "WELCOME TO HIGHLAND PARK" The Mixtape Vol 2. That shit was a instant smoker in the hood. The more we copied and distributed tha CDS, the more they were in high demand. Off the buzz and success of these two mixtapes, we were offered a chance to do a few shows. We performed at Club Fevers, at Club Bogangles, at The Cotton Club, and a The tHighland Park fourth of July Festival. We ripped all of them shows.(even though at Club Fever a nigga ain't get but bout a minute on stage). We still on the grind and are currently in the process of finishing a collaboration project with Southside Based group named B4B called "North to the South" and is in the works of starting on HPC Mixtape Vol 3. We also are working on numerous collaborations with other Richmond based rappers and producers. We have other affiliates associated wit HPC such as B4B(Built 4 Business Boys) Young Coalition, Irv, Fatkat, Arsenal, Sho Star, and others. We mainly record outta Donland Studios in the downtown Richmond area.
