About Me

My husband and I moved to Tennessee from little old Rhode Island after I retired in 2004. We have two daughters, neither of them are close enough for frequest visits...SO, I spend my days doing whatever, helping my husband and we do our best to help his 95 year old mother stay in her own home. I am still trying to figure out - how to maneuver MySpace effectively. I love working outside, or just sitting on the porch watching the clouds and the subtle changes in the mountain views. We have two dogs- one Golden and a Jack Russell mix. They provide their own kind of entertainment. Background by EditingMySpace.com

Comment Codes

Music:

I like some of all types of music. At some point, I should revisit my long ago piano lessons.

Movies:

Haven't seen enough movies to name a favorite. The last movie we watched was a biker movie...can't remember the name.

Television:

I enjoy watching Home & Garden programs, Antique and Collectible appraisals, CSI: Crime Scene, CIS: Miami, and can also be found watching the PBR (bull riding) and the NASCAR Sprint Cup races. BUT I don't control the remote.

Books:

I don't read nearly as much as I should. I am reading Cesar's Way. Hopefully it will help retrain me so that our dogs will do better. Most days, I do read the newspaper and work on the crossword puzzle.

Heroes:

I admire anyone who knows just what to do for someone at any given moment.

2007- A new beginning?

Well, the first seven days of the new year have passed.  Can we consider that to be a 'grace period'.  Although I have made no new year's resolutions, I know what I need to do and am having ...

Diamonds in the Grass
