Hmmmm. Reading, yard work and home improvements, scrapbooking, geneaology, camping, my darling children, my annoying but loveable dogs, evening walks, relaxing on the patio after dark and during thunderstorms. As for what I actually have time for...that would be kids, dogs and the occassional book and myspace surveys!
Single parents, a guy that is conscious of the world around him and not just absorbed in himself. The perfect man would have to be someone who is well established, not neccessarily wealthy, but a steady job or career would be nice. Someone who is hands on and enjoys projects around the home and takes pride in his work rather than being proud that he found the easiest way out of working. I also wouldn't mind just a fun group to hang out with from time to time. So I can at least pretend to have a social life! I love playing "get together games" like Scattergories, Pictionary, Cranium, etc. But with a bum knee generally don't go for the outdoor sports.
Jack Johnson, Howard Jones, John Mayer, Erasure, A-ha, Jason Mraz, Coldplay, Five for Fighting. I listened to a lot of Star 102.7 until that became talk radio. Now it's 101.9 The End. But I also enjoy the occassional jazz and blues, classic rock, and even 70's soft such as Air Supply
Anything by John Hughes (Ferris Bueller, Sixteen Candles), Love Acutally, Moulin Rouge, LadyHawk, Princess Bride, The occassional Disney Movie, I couldn't tell you anything recent since I haven't had time to go to anything in many many months!
Alias(its over, waaaaaaa), Lost, Boston Legal, Gray's Anatomy. I don't care for the reality shows, but I do watch American Idol from time to time since it's one of the only shows on in Prime Time that the whole family can watch.
I have to admit to loving Romance Novels, but I do love the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series and 44 Scotland Street. I have begun branching off into different genres since the divorce
Single parents that can hold it together and not cause lifetime trauma to their children.
