We started off winter of 2006 with a lineup of Mike singing, Joey guitar, Devin bass, and Austin drums calling ourselves The Bitter. Shortly after we added John on second guitar. We played a couple shows and realized that it wasn't gonna work out. So we broke up around July 2006. A couple weeks later we brought it back with John singing, Joey guitar, Mike bass, and Austin drums calling ourselves Cockrot. We recorded two demos within this time, an untitled demo and cocked n rotting. We took a lot of shit from people and stood through a lot of shit talking throughout the scene, but managed to still play shows here and there. Now it's the end of March and we're going through some shit and we all decided to end Cockrot. But Austin, John and Mike are going to keep things going with their new project "Disentery" which is a Thrash/Hardcore/Punk combination. We hope to put out our first self released demo within the next couple of months, and we already have shows coming throughout April and May. Keep looking back as we'll have updates as often as possible.
As of now we have a cover recorded and up on the site. We'll have new songs, and NEWS for you ASAP.
