Ready to Lead

The difference between success and failure is me.

About Me

How many of you out there are thinking about your future? Where will you live? How will you live? What about your job? Will it get you there?

After much introspection, I have made the choice to take control of my future in every way that I can.

My Interests

Storytelling, Business, Art, Love

I'd like to meet:

People who are driven, passionate, and those who will take initiative.

Music:

I will listen to anything that catches my fancy. But I prefer to listen to good musicians. I hate to say it, but there are many talented songwriters out there who just aren't great musicians. I will go for anything that can evolve right in front of you. I am more akin to Jam Bands and improvisational music, like jazz, but I like to mix it with rock, latin, reggae, ska, and anything else that one can rock to. Widespread Panic. String Cheese, Moe, Spin Docs, Phish, DMB, Sinergi, Liquid Soul. Oh and movie soundtracks.

Movies:

The Oceans 11 franchise. Talk about some badasses! But, being a filmmaker myself, there aren't many movies I don't enjoy. Except for Universal Soldier. That sucked.

Television:

Planet Earth! Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Comedy Central, Family Guy, Simpsons

Books:

I've been reading a lot of empowerment books lately. Gems such as "Talent is Never Enough," by John Maxwell. The One Minute Manager by Ken Blanchard. I also read for pleasure, like action adventure, i.e. Dirk Pitt novels. Futuristic, i.e. 1984, Brave new World. Harry Potter is pretty sweet, Celestine Prophecy, Mysteries. Kurt Vonnegut is a genious. JD Salinger has a special place in my heart. And Siddartha is an amazing read. And whatever else in between. It's all good, you know.

Heroes:

My parents and everyone in the world who ever took it on themselves to carry the weight of the world.
