Male, 28 years of age, DJ/ Producer Quest has been djing since the age of 12 years old, due to influences from his older brothers. Within the past 15 years Quest has played and set up for various pirate radio stations, with Ruud Awakening being the most recent and widely known station from the long list. He joined forces with the Ruud Awakening squad back in 1998 and served a loyal Saturday night slot alongside DJ Freeze and Dr Khan. His shows consisted of the latest promos to hit the streets alongside some of the more well known classics to capture a wide spectrum of listeners for his show. During his time on Ruud Awakening a whole host of MCs made an appearance on his show. Now that he is no longer on the station he has more time to concentrate on the production side of things.
Over the years, Quest has played for high profile promoters such as One Nation, Total Hypnosis and Vinyl Touch and graced the decks at a number of venues across London including Brixton Academy and the Mass. He was also long term resident at Ruud Nation at the Dungeons and can also be seen representing at a number of underground parties taking place across London regularly.
DJ Quest also goes under the alias Papa Quest and now hosts his own fortnightly show on www.drumnbassworldwide.co.uk on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month from 10pm-2am.
